The Colour of Books is the newest addition to our Colour Wheel range and is a beautiful stylised fan depicting the spines of 300 books that mention a colour in their title.
The print includes literary classics such as: David Copperfield (Charles Dickens), Black Beauty (Anna Sewell), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Baroness Emmuska Orczy), Anne of Green Gables (LM Montgomery) The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), The Grapes of Wrath (John Steinbeck), Cider With Rosie (Laurie Lee), James And The Giant Peach (Roald Dahl), A Clockwork Orange (Anthony Burgess), The Color Purple (Alice Walker) and Blood Meridian (Cormac McCarthy).
We've included some personal favourites from our own bookshelves including The Raven (Edgar Allan Poe), The Yellow Wall-Paper (Charlotte Perkins Gilman), Midnight’s Children (Salman Rushdie), The Black Dahlia (James Ellroy), White Teeth (Zadie Smith), The Goldfinch (Donna Tart) and the 2015 Man Booker Prize nominee A Spool Of Blue Thread (Anne Tyler). You'll also find Fifty Shades Of Grey (E.L. James) on the wheel although no one in the studio is actually admitting to having read it.
There's an A-Z key at the base of the print listing all 300 featured books, their authors and the year they were published.
