This Supermarine Spitfire model plane features a realistic appearance and can actually fly!
Based on a KeilKraft model from the 1960's, this Supermarine Spitfire balsa wood kit will produce either a fabulous bare-bones static display model or when covered with tissue.
- Original plan with instructions
- Laser-cut balsa parts including stripwood for stringers, leading and trailing edges, etc.
- Wire for undercarriage
- 2.5 feet of good quality flight rubber
- Nose button
- Dowel motor peg
- Pair of plastic wheels
- 10mm tail wheel
- Aliphatic Glue
The model plane is Made in the UK with a balsa wood structure and has a wingspan of 450mm (18"). It's rubber-powered and really flies!
The kit contains sharp ends and small parts and is unsuitable for young children.
