Lead Content Developer

About the role:

Creating stunning visual content is what this role is all about. The role will be developing commercially-led photography and videos for the company and our brands that can be used for various purposes including marketing campaigns and website imagery.

You should expect the role to be varied and fast-paced due to the various brands and products we sell and changes within digital marketing.

The role is positioned within our marketing department and you will be provided regular briefs to work on. You will be filming and editing your own work as well as working with other imagery when required.

While this role does not hold direct line-management responsibility, you would be required to oversee and lead all content output for the company, ensuring that it meets brand guidelines and that the team is provided with technical support and training when required.

About you:

We need someone that is confident with both photography AND videography. You must be commercial with your imagery and understand the importance of high-quality imagery in order to engage with our audience and sell products.

You will need to be confident with editing photographs as well as editing and creating exceptional video content. You should be highly-proficient with using a camera as well as using editing software.

You must be able to work quickly and accurately as well as understanding and upholding each brand identity within your output.

You should have previous experience of providing creative support and know how to get the best out of a team.

Operations Assistant

Operations Assistant REQUIRED!

About the role:

This role is at the core of Ohh Deer, based in the Operations team. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager on the day to day operations of the company. The Operations team includes Purchasing & Planning, Development & IT, Warehouse & Fulfilment and Finance teams and this role will be pivotal to the day to day workflow of each of these teams.

In this position, you will assist the Operations Manager in the execution of projects, ensuring strategies are in place and delivered; there will be a keen focus towards business efficiencies, both spotting and implementing changes to provide cost savings, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

About you:

You have hands-on experience in a similar position, ideally within an operations team or similar. You must know how to analyse data and implement strategy and change. You need to be confident around numbers and have no difficulty making decisions based on the information you’ve gathered. Strong time management skills are essential as you need to be able to construct project timelines and have excellent communication skills.

You need to be a confident, self-sufficient worker, and have no trouble managing your own time, to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and accurately.

You must be able to crack on with the job without too much direction, allowing for our Operations Manager to be involved on a more macro level.

Skills

- Acute eye for detail

- Excellent with numbers & analytical way of thinking

- Efficient time management

- Excellent grasp of data management & manipulation, via Microsoft Excel or G Suite (Google Sheets) - the latter being preferable but not essential

- Business Management qualification or hands on experience

Designer

About the role:

Based within our busy Product and Design department, this role works directly on in-house designs as well as sourcing work from other designers.  You should be able to adapt your style to suit various brands and ranges.

The role will work on a variety of products with a large chunk involving designing for greeting cards.  Our greeting cards are mostly humour-led, so you should be able to develop hilarious designs that fit well into our collection.

As well as designing, you will also need to help us source a variety of artists from across the world to work on various projects for us so you should have a good understanding of our brand and know what is commercially-viable on a global scale.

About you:

You need to be creative with a real talent for illustration. You need to be able to adapt your style as you will be working across a wide variety of brands and ranges.

You should be a great designer, preferably with a passion for contemporary illustration.

You need an exceptional eye for detail. The smallest of errors could be costly for the company and you should be able to identify and correct any errors well before the final print deadlines.

You should be reliable and adaptable and understand the benefits of collaborative working and take on board feedback well.

About the role:

We’re looking for someone that can provide first-class support to our marketing department by helping to coordinate the marketing strategy for all our brands as laid out by our marketing manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring campaigns are well-orchestrated and communicated with the team as well as providing valuable assistance to key members of the team when required.

The role will assist with analysing data to ensure that we’re investing our marketing budget to receive the best possible return.

You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and help them coordinate and deliver our marketing strategy.

About you:

You have to be a marketing all-rounder. Someone that knows how to communicate with others to get the best results for the company across all revenue streams.

You must have experience of working within marketing and be passionate about what you do. You must uphold our company values and be constantly looking for the best return on investment. We believe that all good marketers must know how to analyse data and use that to gain maximum results.

You will be involved with various brands and should be able to switch between jobs with ease.
