About the role:

Ensuring that stock is purchased and delivered on time and within budget is vital for the business. It means that we can provide the best customer service, meet expectations and ensure that the business keeps healthy profits and cash flow.

You will be responsible for analysing data and ensuring that the best prices and quantities are ordered at the right times. The role will also negotiate pricing and build excellent relationships with our manufacturers and suppliers.

Keeping excellent communication with key stakeholders is essential, including in-house teams and suppliers. The role is about making sure the business workflow runs smoothly and efficiently.

About you:

You are required to have an excellent grasp at analysing data, and spreadsheets shouldn’t scare you… in fact you should probably live and breathe them!

You are also required to be highly organised with excellent communication skills - ensuring that issues don’t arrive (if they do then you’ll be able to resolve them with the least disruption to the company as possible) and that all parties know exactly what is happening and when, including our sales, marketing and fulfilment teams.

You should be confident when working with suppliers, building up relationships that ensure we receive the best possible service at the best possible price.

Artworker

About the role:

We're looking for a full-time Artworker to join our busy Product (Core) team. The successful applicant will be responsible for editing and preparing artwork for print across a range of products and marketing materials in particular Greeting Cards and Stationery.

The role is essential for ensuring that our products meet the high standards we expect. The smallest error on a final product can impact sales and diminish our profits and this role should eliminate this from ever happening.

Please don’t be under the impression that this is a design heavy role - while it sits within our Product Department you won’t be involved in creating new work for us very often. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products we make are 100% ready to go to print.

About you:

If you’ve ever wanted to work for us in a design role then this is probably the position for you!  You should be creative and be able to use design software, have a strong eye for detail and be excellent with administration work.

You should be willing to help support the busy product development team and be able to meet print deadlines, ensuring that the business continues to run smoothly.

Marketing Graphic Designer

About the role:

This role is responsible for the visual output of our brands, ensuring that our assets are visually engaging, selling our products and promoting our brands perfectly.    This role coordinates all the visual assets and ensures that our final input will have the perfect composition with image and type to do its required job.

You will be making marketing assets ranging from social media posts, digital advertising, website design to newsletters.

About you:

You need to be a confident Graphic Designer who understands all of our brand identities and can quickly and efficiently produce content for the company to use.

You should have an excellent eye for detail and be able to quickly produce high-quality content.  You will also need to take on board feedback, including data analysis feedback, and be able to produce or adapt and amend any design at ease.

You will need to know how to make the perfect image for the right medium (whether that’s a website design or Facebook advert for example) that perfectly encompasses colour, type and images (either photography or videos) to ensure we produce assets that generate the best return on investment for the company.

Warehouse Christmas Temp

About the role:

We’re looking for casual staff to work within our busy warehouse in the lead up to Christmas. 2020 has thrown our forecasting out of the window which is why we are looking to build a team of Christmas casual staff that we can call upon when demand increases.

The role will be varied but you are likely to be given roles that you can perform well in. For example, you might be exceptional at packing orders but less speedy at picking the stock for those orders and vice versa - it’s important that we play to strength to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse.

You may be involved with working on orders for trade customers, direct website orders or for our subscription boxes.

About you:

While no previous experience of working within a warehouse is required, you are required to have a can-do, positive attitude and be able to deliver accurate and well-presented orders to exceed our customer expectations.

Due to the events of 2020 we’re unable to accurately forecast demand which is why we’re looking to build a team of people we can rely on in the lead up to Christmas. You should be able to commit to at least one or two full days of work a week (Monday to Friday) and be available at short notice. Unfortunately we are unable to commit to any fixed hours.

Product Development Assistant

Product Development Assistant REQUIRED!

About the role:

Sitting within our busy Bespoke Product team, this role will assist with the development of new products for a range of customers and subscription services.  The role is a wide mix of working closely with suppliers and key customers as well as sourcing and designing new products for Ohh Deer and our sub-brands.

The role will work directly on new products for the company, including working on creating bespoke products for many of our key customers.  We have established relationships with Urban Outfitters, ASOS, Cath Kidston and Target to name a few.

The role also works on producing exciting and engaging products for our subscription boxes including Stationery for Papergang and Art supplies for Artful.

The role is varied and exciting with a frequent churn of new projects all the time.

About you:

You need to be creative as well as understanding product design. You must have a commercial mind, ensuring that all products we produce meet the customer expectations and generate an excellent return for the company.

You need an exceptional eye for detail. The smallest of errors could be costly for the company and you should be able to identify and correct any errors well before the final print deadlines.

You will also need to be excellent at building and maintaining relationships as you will be responsible for liaising with many of our suppliers and customers.
