Website and Technology Manager

About the role:

We’re looking for someone to manage and lead our website team which includes our developers and IT team, to ensure that our e-commerce platforms and technology meet the needs of our business and promote future growth.

You will work closely on developing our strategy and ensuring that expectations are met.

We have several websites at Ohh Deer including sites for Artful, Papergang, Ohh Deer and Barry’s Cactus Club as well as our B2B side of the company.

We use Shopify Plus and experience with this platform would be desirable.

The role is responsible for the development and implementation of tech solutions business-wide; so you will be working beyond website development and also focussing on post sale systems, such as ERPs, WMS etc.

About you:

You should be very competent with website strategy and know how to get the best results within the shortest timeframes. As you will be responsible for leading and delivering our strategy for web development you need to be able to manage a team of developers and work closely with key stakeholders in and out of the business.

Communication skills are essential to ensure that relevant teams are kept up to date with our development schedule.

You should be able to scope out a project from start to finish and identify potential pitfalls early on to eliminate the need of pushing deadlines.

You should be the leader of your craft and want to be a driving force in helping Ohh Deer become and remain the market leaders for all its brands.

Independent Relationship Executive

About the role:

Working within our customer experience team, this role will look after and build relationships with our independent retailers across the world. The role is about selling and helping us maximise our return on investment.

Relationship building is an essential part of our B2B sales activity as it helps build loyalty and our independent retailers are an important part of our business at Ohh Deer.

As well as building and maintaining relationships with our customers you will also be responsible for sourcing new retailers.

The role involves occasional visits outside of the office including visiting tradeshows and high-value independent customers.

About you:

You need to be personable and know how to sell to customers. We want to deliver the best customer experience every time and know that we can build brand loyalty from creating enjoyable experiences every time a customer interacts with us.

You should be confident in knowing our products as well as being able to negotiate prices when required.

Account management and working in a previous sales role is desirable but we recognise that having the right passion and motivation can be key.

Our aim is for the role to be solely focused on sales and relationship building and you will help us work towards automating and removing the need for some current administrative tasks.

Warehouse and Fulfilment Manager

About the role:


This is an essential role for the company and we’re looking for someone who can drive a highly optimised warehouse operation that delivers accurately, on time, everytime. Our warehouse spans 25,000 square feet (including a canteen + staff area) and is located in Burton on the Wolds, Leicestershire (just outside Loughborough) with free parking on site.

The role will be responsible for our supply chain, inventory and entire warehouse operation. You will lead a team to help you deliver all expectations.

You will need to effectively plan for future demand without impacting expectations or increasing % costs for the company.

The role is responsible for the health and safety of the warehouse, buildings, machinery as well as recruitment, staff performance and our supply chain.

About you:


You should have excellent knowledge of working within a warehouse and know how to deliver a highly efficient, fully optimised warehouse operation that delivers on time and within budget.

You should constantly be looking for ways to save the company money by driving for efficiencies - from staff management through to stock shrinkage.

You must know how to manage people to ensure maximum performance.

Location:

Our warehouse is based in Burton on the Wolds, Leicestershire (near Loughborough). Due to the nature of this role we are not offering remote working for this position.

Hours:

The role is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week - the majority of the time you will be working a standard Monday to Friday shift pattern however your contract of employment will cover 7 days a week to ensure that we can meet demand throughout the year.

Pay:

Operations Assistant

About the role:

This role is at the core of Ohh Deer, based in the Operations team. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager on the day to day operations of the company. The Operations team includes Purchasing & Planning, Development & IT, Warehouse & Fulfilment and Finance teams and this role will be pivotal to the day to day workflow of each of these teams.

In this position, you will assist the Operations Manager in the execution of projects, ensuring strategies are in place and delivered; there will be a keen focus towards business efficiencies, both spotting and implementing changes to provide cost savings, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

About you:

You have hands-on experience in a similar position, ideally within an operations team or similar. You must know how to analyse data and implement strategy and change. You need to be confident around numbers and have no difficulty making decisions based on the information you’ve gathered. Strong time management skills are essential as you need to be able to construct project timelines and have excellent communication skills.

You need to be a confident, self-sufficient worker, and have no trouble managing your own time, to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and accurately.

You must be able to crack on with the job without too much direction, allowing for our Operations Manager to be involved on a more macro level.

Skills

- Acute eye for detail + Efficient time management
- Excellent with numbers & analytical way of thinking
- Excellent grasp of data management & manipulation, via - - Microsoft Excel or G Suite (Google Sheets) - the latter being preferable but not essential
- Business Management qualification or hands on experience.

We’re looking for someone who can plan, build and deliver an engaging email marketing strategy for our company that not only drives sales but builds on the customer experience.

The role will look at data to determine optimal points to deliver emails within a customer's journey to generate the best return on investment for the company.

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager. You will work alongside the day shift to offer seamless support to our customers during evenings and weekends. Our goal at Ohh Deer is to offer world-class customer service, driving subscriber retention by delivering a superb customer support experience. You will be responsible for liaising with both consumer and business customers via multiple channels, so being confident on the telephone, via email and web chat, and social media is crucial.

This is a home-based role so it will suit someone who has:

- the role will require you to proactively reach out to subscribers to gain feedback so you need to be confident on the phone
