Warehouse Supervisors x3

Warehouse Supervisors x3 REQUIRED!

About the role:

Working within our 25,000 ft warehouse in Burton on the Wolds, Leicestershire (just outside Loughborough) you will help the Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager deliver a high performance operation that exceeds company and customer expectations.


As a supervisor, you will lead our warehouse team alongside our Warehouse and Fulfilment
Manager in the provision of daily workload, shift management and team performance.

This role will also be responsible for deputising in the absence of our Warehouse and Fulfilment Manager, which may include the occasional weekend or evening shift.

We’re looking for three Supervisor positions within our team, each leading a certain area of our warehouse operation.

These include, a ‘General Supervisor’ who will oversee the entire operation.

An ‘Inbound & Outbound Supervisor’, who will work closely with Goods In and our dispatch teams to ensure we receive stock in a timely, accurate manner and ensure our orders go out on time.

The final position for a ‘Quality Control & Efficiency supervisor’ who will pay particular attention to the quality of product received and distributed by the business; this role will work closely with our
product team, and will also work towards pushing for warehouse efficiencies and stock accuracy.


The warehouse can be fast-paced with lots of orders needing to be dispatched daily including
large orders for the likes of Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose as well as repeat subscription orders for Papergang, Artful and Barry’s Cactus Club.

About you:

You must know how to lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to deliver at peak
performance every day, ensuring that everyone meets deadlines and expectations as laid out by
the Warehouse and Fulfilment Manager and customers.


You should be prepared for physical work, which can at times be repetitive, and not afraid of
getting stuck in to meet customer delivery expectations.


You must have a keen eye for detail as our orders should be picked and packed accurately and carefully to ensure that we deliver customer satisfaction every single time.


While your shift pattern will often be the same, you do need to be prepared to work evenings and
weekends as required (your contract will reflect this) to allow us to meet delivery expectations
throughout our peak periods across the year, especially in the lead up to Christmas.

About the role:

We’re looking for someone who can plan, build and deliver an engaging email marketing strategy for our company that not only drives sales but builds on the customer experience.

The role will look at data to determine optimal points to deliver emails within a customer's journey to generate the best return on investment for the company.

You will also need to work closely with stakeholders to find innovative ways to build our newsletter targeting lists.

About you:

Lead Developer

Lead Developer REQUIRED!

About the role:

We’re looking for someone to manage and lead our development team to ensure that our e-commerce platforms and technology meet the needs for our business and future growth.

You will work closely on developing our strategy and ensuring that expectations are met.

We have several websites at Ohh Deer including sites for Artful, Papergang, Ohh Deer, Barry’s Cactus Club, Jewel + the Gang, Put a Sock in it as well as our direct to business side of the company.

We use Shopify Plus and experience with this platform would be desirable.

The role is also responsible for ensuring that our internal systems and technology are fit for purpose.

About you:

You should be very competent with web development and know how to get the best results within the shortest timeframes. As you will be responsible for leading and delivering our strategy for web development you need to be able to manage a team of developers and work closely with key stakeholders in and out of the business.

Communication skills are essential and ensuring that relevant teams are kept up to date with your development schedule.

You should be able to scope out a project from start to finish and identify potential pitfalls early on to eliminate the need of pushing deadlines.

You should be the leader of your craft and want to be a driving force in helping Ohh Deer become and remain the market leaders for all its brands.
